Week of August 14th, Week 9 of CSA

Come join us for our 12th Annual Peach Festival on Sunday, August 19th!

Applecrest is home to more than 20 distinct varieties of succulent tree-ripened peaches, nectarines and plums. Come spend the day and pick ’em straight from the tree. Our peach festival features free live bluegrass music, tractor rides out to the peach orchard, face painting, kid’s bouncy house, our famous corn roast and sausage grill, hot cider donuts and every peach-inspired yummy under the sun

Please remember it is your responsibility to return your crate every week when you arrive to pick up your share! We are running low on readily available cardboard boxes for those of you who have forgotten your box, so make sure you have your crate ready to swap out.

Each and every week we do our absolute best to get to you the veggies we include in this newsletter so you can plan your week accordingly. Despite all our best plans and intentions, share contents are subject to last minute changes due to weather, field conditions and random acts of mischief by our beloved Mother Nature. This means some weeks that half and full share compositions might not be identical and we will make up where applicable.
