Birthday Parties

Celebrate the apple of your eye's birthday with a day of fun in the great outdoors! Picking parties keep kids of all ages entertained and make memories that last a lifetime.

Venue:
Our big-top tent is a great meeting spot for the party, providing ample seating at picnic tables and protection from the sun and rain. The tent is beautifully situated next to old-growth apple trees where your children can run and play hide-and-seek. In the summer, we have smaller tents set up by our spring-fed pond. Each party is guaranteed a reserved tent area with picnic tables for 90 minutes.

Activities:
Bounce along as a tractor-drawn hayride brings the party to the fields where each child can pick a 1/4 peck bag of apples, a pint of berries, or a pumpkin, depending on the season. After that, enjoy a delicious homemade dessert and cup of cider before you open presents. We provide plates, napkins, utensils and cups or you may bring your own. As always, you are welcome to bring additional food and beverages.

Dessert:
One slice of homemade apple pie with ice cream for each child or a mountain of our freshly baked old-fashioned cider donuts topped with a candle.

Favors:
Each child takes home the bag of apples they pick. We can also provide carmel-apple making kits.

Dates:
We schedule parties from June through October. Each season affords its own delights. In June and early July (depending on Mother Nature) you can party by our spring-fed pond and pick strawberries. In July and August, the blueberry patch is open. In September and October apples and pumpkins are ripe for the picking.

Cost:
Standard package includes hayride, pick-your-own fruit, cup of cider, dessert, plates, forks, napkins, cups, and reserved tent area with picnic tables: $15-20/ child. Birthday child gets to party for free! A minimum of 10 children is required (not including the birthday girl or boy).

Optional Add-ons:
Apple bobbing ($5), face painting ($20), invitation cards ($1/card), cup of grain to feed animals at the petting zoo ($1/cup. Available on weekends in Sept/Oct. only).

Upon booking a rain date must be chosen and a $75 deposit is required to hold the date. If rain date is also rained out, deposit is refunded in full.

We do not provide chaperones for the party, but dedicated farm staff is available at an hourly rate.
